We believe they should define how every workplace, community and society should feel.
Our extensive experience in this field has been developed through a collaborative approach with our clients. This enables us to help them create workplaces that embody all four characteristics in everything they do; from how they attract and recruit incredible talent, to how they support the members of their workforce who face health and wellbeing challenges.
be an advocate for inclusion
This course focuses on individual endeavour and the important role that an advocate for inclusion can have on the world around them. Creating a truly inclusive workplace is much more than having rules and procedures or quotas to meet.
Advocating for inclusion means facing into uncomfortable truths about the biases that exist in the workplace and consciously working on them to make the world a better place.
Inclusive workplaces have people who support each other with empathy and kindness when lives are changed by health challenges or crisis.
Creating inclusive and supportive workplaces is an individual endeavour, everything you do to be more inclusive or to support a member of your team, no matter how small, has a huge ripple effect, multiple benefits and is always worth it.
Our Creating Inclusive and Supportive Workplaces course has been designed to help you:
Challenge your thinking about what being inclusive really means and how change happens one person at a time
Understand how unconscious biases can emerge and spread epidemically if untreated
‘Lean in’ to situations where you feel someone else is not being inclusive
Respond with a growth mindset rather than defensive mindset when someone ‘calls you out’ for not being inclusive
Confidently approach supportive conversations where you are not a wellbeing expert and previously were worried that you may say the wrong thing
Support others by listening with your heart, without judging or feeling the pressure to fix it
Explore the different ways that teams can work together to create an inclusive community and engender a sense of belonging.
